Medicinal Inclusions

This series of vessels produced in collaboration with Marion Mack is inspired by bottles taken home from the Pharmacist to cure various ailments and maladies. The artists have embodied the hopes, dreams and wishes of ordinary people by sealing an object inside the bottle like a relic or votive figurine. The completed set of bottles was taken to be displayed in the ancient chemists shop that is preserved in Marion’s home town of Amberg, Germany.
